Course description: During the last few years there has been an increased interest regarding the relation between diet and health. This is due to the important role nutrition plays throughout our lifetime, since this role affects the growth of our body during childhood, the risk for acute and chronic diseases as well as the maintenance of physiological biological processes. An important goal of this course is to help inform and clarify the knowledge about the relationship between our diet and the molecular processes that involve the food we eat. This course provides a new depth of objective information on increasingly salient issues and is essential for all those interested in the relationship between diet and our health.
